I've been taking my cars here as long as I've been driving. My mom has been going there for 15 years. When I've lived outside of LA, I've always dreaded getting my car serviced because I know the mechanics will give me a five-year-old's Christmas wish list-sized report on everything wrong with my vehicle. John doesn't do that. If he finds a problem with my car, I believe him. He also goes out of his way to find the most inexpensive way to fix it (used parts, maybe putting off the repair initially if it's safe to do so). I recently recommended him to a friend who had moved to LA from Utah. When he went back home, he said that he wished he could find a mechanic like John in Utah. The location can be confusing at first. Get directions.
