Review content:
My father who turns 76 on Monday went here to get a new phone as his old one no longer worked. He asked for either the exact same model or something similar. They did not ask him a single question about his wants or needs nor did they give him a choice. What he ended up with had no Bluetooth or camera, both features that he uses regularly. They also didn't transfer his contacts from the old phone or even offer to do so.
It seems to me that when one is in the wireless phone business a basic needs assessment is necessary to determine what features the user requires. Obviously at Wireless Depot, this isn't done and it's totally inexcusable.
When I returned to the store on my father's behalf and asked to speak with the manager, I was told that it was he who assisted my father in the first place. When I asked whether or not they inquired anything whatsoever about the needs of their customers, he simply replied no.
In a market as vast and competitive as wireless, there are many choices but it seems like this is the worst and I would stay clear and go just about any other place. Matter of fact there is a Verizon company store almost directly across the street that I wouldn't hesitate to use, despite them being generally crowded.
