Romantic for Valentine's. Dim, cozy. Booth was fairly secluded because restaurant is divided in sections. I'm hard to please when it comes to Italian. Fine Italian restaurants often use too much garlic or basil (to where that's all you taste). La Strada's food has the right amount of spices. The entrees were very good. Desserts for Valentine's were extremely good and had an upscale, artistic presentation. Chocalate dessert sampler had strawberries dipped in chocolate and white chocolate. Rich chocolate dessert drizzled with raspberry sauce. I'd give dessert a 9. For a place with a wine steward, the prices are very reasonable. Warning: bread basket was lined with paper and the flame came above the candle holder and the paper caught fire! We had to plunge breadsticks into water glass! That was a couple years ago, so maybe they've fixed that problem.
Pros: Romantic, cozy, Reasonable prices, Good food
Cons: Candle ignited bread!
