Businiess name:  River House

Review content:
The River House is located on a canal across from a used boat dealership which ruins the view from the restaurant. The architecture is the one thing going for this restaurant so go and take pictures but find another place to eat. Two glasses of a wine which sells for under $12 dollars a bottle costs $23 and is served in the 3-4 oz. range (1/3 wine glass). Our meal consisted of grouper which wasn?t fresh (Sunday night) and was 8-10 minutes over-cooked. There was a wedding party going on and perhaps the attention of the kitchen was here. It certainly wasn?t on the other diners. The asparagus spears looked more like javelins (3/4? dia.) and were essentially raw. The waiter took our order, cleared the appetizers, and delivered the check, the bare essential and acceptable. The meal was inexcusable however; and, at over $100 for two, insulting.
