Review content:
Being a native Los Angeleno I continue to find aspects of Nashville that make me feel less homesick. Mambu is one of them! The eclectic blend of food, drink, ambience and service has been transported from the streets of Melrose or La Cienega and has landed on Hayes Street! Couldn't have felt ""more"" at home. From the unassuming locale thru the entire house, there's so many fascinating things to enjoy. Heading the list, is the food. The dumplings...a must! The tuna...to die for! Tried the Veal Chop one time, the fresh catch another. Simply amazing! Didn't think I had any room left for dessert, but thought I'd better try. I'm glad I did! Had the almond coffee cake with green tea ice cream!!! WOW! who would have known that such a place existed right in the ""heart"" of Nashville? Well, I know! Mambu, I love you!
