Review content:
My wife and I just returned from our first (and last) visit to Fire. I might as well have eaten a box of salt for supper. Everything on my plate was salty; I had the pork chop. Even my wife thought her rice was a little salty (she had the cod.)
I told our waitress, and she gave an explanation of soaking the meat in brine. I question why there would be even more salty bits of pork added to the vegtables. The waitress did indicate she would bring something else; but I was quite turned off by the pork. They should have shown more concern over my complaint. (She didn't even offer to adjust the bill.)
Overall let's face it... we go to a restaurant to eat. It's easy to overlook some things, but the food needs to be exceptional! My mother-in-law can make things salty!
