I drove 30 miles out of my way with the sole intention of taking my daughters skating on a Sunday afternoon only to be greeted @ the doors with signs saying that there was no open skate that weekend due to some going on with the Rec team. I checked the website before I left and there was nothing posted that would indicate that public skating would be closed. This seems to be a huge problem in WI. In this case it just seems like they called it a ""public"" park to get funding for its hockey team. If you're planning to go do it in advance and call, websites are never updated here. If I can ever get in the doors, I'll come back and comment about service & facilities.
