I just walked in (after realizing how long it had been since I had gotten a haircut), and the owner, Glen, greeted me warmly (but not insincerely) and matched me with a stylist, Amanda. We briefly discussed what I wanted, and then I had a nice shampoo -- and I tend to just ""endure"" the shampoo at most places. This wasn't trying too hard: it was just relaxing naturally into a sense of being taken-care-of. Then it was the right level of conversation, not too much, not too little, not afraid to interrupt to ask direct questions (morning routine, blow dry, a little shorter?). When it was done, I felt like I looked like Myself - and isn't that what we all want? I was pleasantly surprised by the price, and tipped as if it were a much pricier place, because I felt valued there. I definitely recommend this place!
Pros: great people, great cut
