Review content:
I'm a local who's been away from Providence for the last few years. The last time I went to Zog I went with a friend's mom for coffee and it was pretty bad, but I was on Wickenden this past weekend with a few friends and they all said that they had been in and that they loved it. The owner has done a lot of remodeling since the last time I had been there. The walls are painted, there are new signs, and the bathroom looks totally different. The girls behind the counter were all really really sweet and made conversation with us while we ordered our food. I got a falafel wrap and a soy cafe au lait and it was great. One of the girls behind the counter said she was vegan and made the hummus herself. Props to her. One of my friends got the biggest veggie omelet I've ever seen with a bagel and fruit, which I couldn't eat (vegan), but looked really good and my other friend had the curried chicken wrap, which she loved. I give a lot of credit to these girls. They're not working with a lot, it looks like they only had a couple griddle pans to work with, but they were putting out good food pretty quickly. the attitude and atmosphere in the cafe was great, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can't wait to go back.
