Review content:
Have you ever been to one of those dives on the side of the road which has been there for 40 years? All too often the food is great, the tables are clean, the price is right and the people are more than friendly. Now imagine you take all of that away for a NEW place and add an ash covered sidewalk and a loud, smoke filled restaurant and you will have Carmella's. I have never been in there when I was greeted by a friendly staff member, I have never seen a clean table (even after they wipe them down after being asked several times), the service has always been slow, the food is ok and the price is not too bad. They are apparently catering strictly to the bikers who frequent the place and clutter the parking area with their ill placed bikes (sidewalks too) Trash, beer bottles, cigarette butts and this is on the outside. The inside is a noisy smoke fest with some of the laziest and rudest staff I have ever seen.
Pros: They are conveniently located at the entrance of Regent Park where I live.
Cons: Staff are horrible, the entire facility needs to be cleaned, SLOW, rude, got order wrong as usual.
