When I was pregnant, we interviewed several pediatricians. Two of the big practices we talked to didn't believe in the baby having a specific doctor and just wanted you to see whoever was available. We didn't like that idea because we wanted someone who would get to know our child and be able to share our concerns. This office has two docs who each have their own patients but cover for each other in emergencies. Our main pediatrician is Dr. Rose and she is caring and gentle and has a great philosophy about child care and helping new parents. The office staff has always been sensitive and helpful when I would call with what probably seemed like stupid ""first time parent"" questions. I was really impressed with the emergency on-call system, which we fortunately have had to use twice. My daughter is 2 now and she just loves Dr. Rose! Pros: personalized, sensitive, competent Cons: NONE!
