Review content:
I've had my new driveway and walkway for months now, and I am still trying to come to terms with the experience. It started with the sales process. I'm sorry that I didn't follow my gut, but it's too late for that. The salesman came in to my home offering 3 options. We selected a product, signed a contract and a day later he called saying that the option was no longer available. Only due to fear of losing the sale did he present other stone colors, etc. that had not been offered initially. I selected 2 stone colors to be mixed, and a day later he called saying that he couldn't combine the 2 colors I selected. Again, fear of losing the sale, he magically came up with a solution to 'borrow' the second color from another jobsite, but less than required so rather than 60/40, I would get a 7 to 1 ration. So the installation crew shows up and doesn't speak a word of english and I am the one who's available to communicate the plan to them. Siete y uno. Still, they ran out of the lesser color about 3/4 of the way through the space, AND THEY KEPT GOING! So 1/4 of my driveway has NONE of the contrasting color! I was in my house (with my 3 week old - otherwise I'd have been supervising) and they set the stones without even asking me to look at it. The salesman came to my house pressuring me to sign off on the job, ""so the subcontractors can get paid"", and promised that the problem would be corrected asap. The manager, to his credit, made an attempt to fix the problem, but disappeared after moving 4 stones. And while moving the stones, he damaged each one of them by pounding them without a barrier so that the survace is now white.
Pros: The product is appealing if installed correctly
Cons: Sales and installation were shady, at best.
