I'm surprised to see anything less than 5 star reviews here. I've been living in San Marcos for too long eating something that they've somehow managed to label ""hummus"" without a fair judge to call it otherwise. However, I've returned to Austin and discovered this hidden Greek secret on 6th. Holy smokes! Now this is hummus! Every time I come to visit I order the hummus. Maybe some beer, or wine, or a tequila shot. Whatever, it doesn't matter. I'm getting my hummus. I buy hummus at Whole Foods, HEB, and Central Market...nothing is this good. So I'm hooked. I bought a lamb dish. Sovlaki I think it was called. or souvlaki I can't remember, but it must have weighed a pound or two. So much food for the dollar. The quality of the meat was perfectly tender and cooked just the way I asked. Well done. The staff is intelligent, young, and friendly. It's never too packed and always has a nice charm to it. I enjoy the atmosphere just as much as the food. There's an outdoor patio as well with a view of 6th and music to listen to. I haven't been here for lunch yet, since I'm too busy during the day, but dinner...is to die for. Great for dates. Very romantic. You won't be disappointed.
