Review content:
Dear Mr. Pounders,
We have been loyal customers of Southern Foods for many years and wanted to send this letter to express our appreciation for the tremendous customer service that we have received since we joined Southern Foods in 1992. We have always experienced excellent food advice, reliable problem solving, prompt deliveries, professional relationships, accurate orders, and reasonable cost.
Recently we had a very challenging situation in which we returned from vacation to find that our 16 year old freezer (purchased from SOuther Foods in 1992) had stopped working. We were unaware of how long it had been out of service, but we knew that the first call to make was to our food economist, Marjie Bandiero, in the Greensboro, NC office. She immediately got the ball rolling and remained in contact with us throughout the process- often from home after hours. From there, a series of events took place that were above and beyond our expectations: cell phone numbers exchanged, an employee dispatched to assess our damages, food collected, the freezer evaluated, a new freezer delivered, and new food replaced- all within approximately 72 hours. Mr. Steve Seawell was in charge of food transportation for both the returns to the warehouse, and the arrival of our new replacements. He was extremely helpful and meticulous in assuring the quality of our experience. The delivery assistant removed our damaged food and re-packed our new freezer- even used his band truck to haul our old freezer to the street.
I would like to mention that my husband and I own a financial services business here in Burlington (since 1991) and we are well aware of how important it is to provide excellent customer service. I hope that you are kind enough to personally thank Mrs. Bandiero and Mr. Seawell as they have provided us with 16 years of outstanding customer service and a warm, professional relationship with Southern Foods.
Sincerely,
Jeff and Becky Blaser
