OK, Guitar Center is what it is. But the Lake Forest Guitar Center has a new(?) tech/luthier aboard and he will hook you up. He did two guitars for me over the holiday weekend. he made a nice mid-line acoustic sound like a bell on Jul 3. Charge? $10. Then, on JULY 4, the guy did a complete setup and polished out a nasty fret on a Gibson Explorer. Charge? $67.50 or something thereabouts. I think this ""guitar garage"" thing might be pretty new because he doesn't have cards, or a proper computer with a cash drawer, but he's a good guy and he knows what he's doing. Get there early--walk in when they open and you're good to go. Thanks, man.
