Review content:
I live in S Austin and go to Erie Bean at least a couple times each week. The coffee is good and less expensive than all the chain places (e.g. Starbucks). The staff is friendly but more important they are genuine - the owners even work the coffee bar certain times. They also have free live music every week and sometimes even free drinks! There seems to be a local crowd that is always there but they are friendly to non-locals too.
Pros: Friendly staff, good coffee, lots of free events
Cons: Jay no longer works there
