If you have ever lived on the East Coast you know the Northeast is famous for two things; attitude and horribly cold weather!! One thing you don't expect to find, especially in such miserable weather, is a friendly group with the old mom-and-pop mentality. The crew at Shulman Fuel/Majora Fuel Company, a family owned and run business is one of the last dinosaurs of our society. Stepping out onto the rocky gravel outside the office there takes you back in time to when 'work ethic' meant you were an honest and hard worker and the customer was always right. I walked into this tranquil environment where the aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg filled my nostrils and warmed my heart! Greeted at the door by a lovely blond woman with the demeanor of an angel and a voice as soft as summer rain. I asked her where the lovely young man named Adam, who had answered my call earlier was stationed. She pointed in his direction and I walked over to thank the fine man. I commended him on his interpersonal skills as he introduced me to his sweet grandfather, Arthur, the Patriarch of this establishment. Arthur stood in front of me with his soft and kind eyes and accepted my payment for services rendered. I had wanted to hand deliver the payment so i could meet the people who had always treated me with such kindness. I was then introduced to Marilyn, the Matriarch, who, with her perfectly coiffed flaming red hair looked more like she should be stepping out of a dressing room than an office. Everyone was so delightful, including sons Joel and Ira who seem to have their finger on the pulse of all that is heating fuel related. All in all my experience with this company has been quite enjoyable. A cut above the competition with their impeccable understanding of the value of customer relations and the earnestness of a job well done. Highly recommend this well organized and friendly company who's motto seems to be ""we do it right and we do it well-ex""
