I have been going to Middle Path Acupuncture for nearly 10 years. When I first began treatment, my health greatly interfered with my ability to fulfill the responsibilities of my day-to-day life. Little things like showers and doing laundry, felt like mountain climbing. I have had asthma my whole life and developed endometriosis and thyroid disease in my mid teens. As a teenager, I was desperate to have fun, instead of living in chronic pain. So I tried everything Western medicine had to offer. I saw dozens of the best specialists in Boston. I tried every medicine. Joined trials. Even underwent painful surgeries. I was a believer in the Western way, but I wasn't seeing results.
