My boyfriend and I stayed there over Thanksgiving, and everything surpassed our expectations. Dan is incredibly hospitable, patient, and attentive, and even upgraded us to a larger room for the same price (after we changed our schedule last minute) so that we would not have to switch rooms in the middle of our stay. There was always plenty of food out and available for breakfast, even on Sundays, and the Rose/Sage room was absolutely beautiful. We peeked in a couple of the others on the second floor, and they are all very well kept, clean, and put together in a somewhat Victorian design. I am almost tempted to stay there the next time we visit family in the area, even if we don't really need to stay in a hotel. This is the first time I've ever felt honored to pay $85 for anything.
Pros: Beautiful room, excellent communication with owner, and very good breakfast
