02/08/09 - I was referred to FitChallenge by a member and was told about the orientation Gwen holds on Sundays. When I arrived at the gym I was immediately bombarded with the pricing plan (or what was called the only offer of the day) I was not allowed to hear about the program prior to committing, I was told ""you would not be here if you knew the program did not work"". I felt as if I were in a pressure cooker to pay the overly stated $104 before I was even introduced to the program. I was told by a male in the establishment that there would be no dissemination of information without a payment and was rudely showed the door. I am in search of a fitness program to change my life but I can say with all honesty that, although results are documented, who wants to be belittled and pressure to try a program that may or may not work for them. I gladly left the premises and attended the orientation for a program called NuLife and was very pleased at the treatment I received and gladly payed the fee to begin. I have no doubt that I would have been successful at FitChallenge but at what cost. The NuLife staff made me feel comfortable investing in my future health goals. FitChallenge lost what could have been a dedicated client. Word of advise - Customer Service is KEY to a successful business. Gwen will lose more customers than she gains. She needs a makeover on a new attitude and needs to focus more on helping people than padding her pockets, her business is money driven not people driven. Pros: I was not allowed to make a decision Cons: Very Poor Customer Service
