I have been living at a property owned by Stonemill Property Management (SPM) for several months. First off, there is nothing here in the park for children to do (no playground, etc) yet, we are not allowed to put up such things on our yard either. The management here is not very knowledgeable on many repairs and will give you the run around as will the property owners themselves.(Good luck dealing with the owner's wife who most often answers the phone, and tries to keep you from talking to the him. She has a tendancy to be mean, nasty, and degrading even! I have been waiting on repairs that are still not done since before we moved in here. SPM wants their rent and water paid on time and everything kept to their specifications, however, they do not do their end of the deal. Very unreliable! The park manager, when available,(he works all the time at a regular job outside of the park and there are too many trailers to manage here for just one person anyway) expects the tenants to pitch in, free of charge, to do the repairs either on their own, or alongside him. That is not the responsibility of a tenant. We pay our rent on time and take care of what we are supposed to, we bother noone...We do our end of the deal,now if only they would do theirs! I STRONGLY discourage anyone from moving into any property owned or managed by SPM unless they are ok with living in misery under the rule of a slumlord!
