I was pleased with the wedding dress that I bought at Helene's, but the fitting process was a nightmare. The length was still uneven after two fittings. I wanted the straps modified, and the seamstress attached them in such a way that the bust line looked curved on one side and pointed on the other. Every time I pointed out a flaw, she argued with me that she had done it correctly when she obviously hadn't. She never even made the adjustments from the final fitting, and I got the dress with pins still in it. I was worried that I was going to slip out of my dress because she had not taken in the bust as she had pinned it. The experience was also made worse by her smell. I could barely breathe when she was near me.
