Review content:
As a Christian, I wish I could say that the Salvation Army is a wonderful organization but unfortunately, I can't. I've had two bad experieces with them so far. In the first, I tried to donate some furniture to them. I had to work on the day they were supposed to pick it up so I told them they could come into my appartment and get it. Imagine my surprise when I came home to find the furniture in the middle of the living room, completely demolished. No explanation or ""thanks but we can't accept your donation."" Just a pile of rubble in the middle of my living room. Then a few days ago, I decided to give them another chance. We were going to donate a mattress to them but when my wife called to arrange for pick-up, she was treated VERY rudely by not one but two people on the phone. They totally talked down to her and made her feel about an inch tall. I guess no good deed goes unpunished in this organization. I'm never donating anything to them again and will not buy anything in their stores. I will also urge others to do likewise.
