My husband and I stumbled upon De Walt's quite by accident - and we thank our lucky stars that we did. I had been sold some herbs at another health food store that had wreaked havoc on my digestive tract, and we were searching for something to help me get back to normal. Jim, who was working that day, highly recommended a powdered Barley drink, and it immediately started easing my pain and discomfort. I was an instant fan. When we went back, we took out time and browsed each aisle, and found De Walt's to have an amazingly diverse selection of products to choose from, and everything was so much more reasonably priced than the other health food stores we had gone to. Jim is very knowledgeable, engaging, and truthful when he is not certain about a question - he will recommend that you speak with Colleen about hormonal issues, for example. This is the first health food store we have ever gone to in any city where the owner or staff did not try to push the most expensive product, or a line that they have a vested interest in. Mary, the owner, keeps her prices fair, and she always has a nice selection of sale products to browse through. Mary, like Jim, is also extremely warm, engaging, and genuine. I cannot recommend De Walt's highly enough. Honest people, honest prices, great atmosphere. We have never set foot in any other health food store since we found De Walt's.
