Review content:
I try to eat organic and locally sourced at home and its phenomenal to have a local restaurant focus it menu around this concept. The Butternut Squash soup was delicious, the salad with apples, nuts and blue cheese was divine. The salmon was not as focused as these other dishes. It was smeared in horseradish, on wilted spinach in a mushroom jus. I would ditch the horseradish that overwhelmed the fish, ditch the mushroom jus, sprinkle on some sea salt, black pepper and fresh herbs, move the spinach to the side and I would love this simple dish much more. As a chocoholic, the chocolate cake was good, not great. But I'll always go for chocolate. Happy hour wine was very good for the price. Next time I will try a cocktail.
