Review content:
I have been bringing my 2 ferrets to Whitestone Vet Care for the past year. Sage and Koda are always treated very well by Dr. Starkey. He is extremely knowledgeable about exotics; especially ferrets. One of my ferrets was suffering from hair loss which Dr. Starkey told me is an indication of adrenal disease in ferrets. He confirmed that she had adrenal disease with a blood test and we decided that the best course of action for Sage was to get a melatonin implant. She got her implant back in February of 2011 and she has since grown a full coat of fur and put on some weight. Although she is not ""cured"" of her disease, it is being managed nicely by this implant. I will continue to come to Dr. Starkey with any questions that I have regarding my ferrets in the future. A+ vet and also a great support staff!!
