Review content:
The only thing Home Depot has going for it are low prices. Usually. The current trend in American business seems to be just to get the price down on everything, at the cost of quality, selection and customer service. I prefer shopping at my little local hardware store, but sometimes they don't have what I need, and when I have to go to Home Depot, and I am lucky enough to FIND an employee who seems to give a hoot, s/he usually knows less about what tools or supplies I need than I do, and I am an amateur do-it-yourself guy. But if you go to Home Depot, definitely talk to the older guys, they will at least tell you when they don't know something rather than pretend.
Pros: Low prices.
Cons: Difficult to find help, lack of knowledge, inconsistent selection.
