Review content:
Parked in post office parking lot after hours. Parking lot was completely full. People were standing around waiting for a parade that was to happen in 5 hours. People told us that there was no problem parking there as they had done it for many years. Also told us that people always parked there on weekends when post office was closed. Mailed some post cards and went to the bathroom. Returned in less than 1 hour. Car was gone. People told us that tow truck driver said that our car had been parked there overnight. A lie! Took a taxi to the towing lot. Asked the man there who authorized the car to be towed. Became belligerent and said the information was confidential. Tried to explain that we had been there less than 1 hour. Threatened to hold our car longer and would charge us more. Fee was $270 and he refused to take our credit card. Demanded cash. ATM machine conveniently located at window. Charge was $7. Taxi cost was $25. Our car was the only one in the lot with out of state license plates. Don't plan on visiting Key West again.
