Review content:
I took my car in for new tires and a tune up. I was charged $93.75 for their Platinum Tune up Package. They broke something and did not tell me nor did they fix it. My car was returned to me in poor condition. It backfired , the 'service engine' light came on, oit woul not be able to go up hills or accelerate without backfiring. It sounded like the timing was off and it was not running on all cylinders. I took it back 2 more times, the last time the service manager refused to open the hood. I had to take it to another mechanic who charged me $131.32 to fix what Pep Boys did. Pep Boys also charged me for the handling of all four tires, yet I kept one. $1.50 for the tire.
Cons: does not guarantee work. cannot do a simple tune up, will not fix what they break, will not or can not figure out what went wrong
