We went for a test drive on a 2012 vehicle a week ago with a very ""passive"" salesman. They tried, unsuccessfully, to get me to give them my social security number so they could run my credit. I told them repeatedly I wanted to see bottom line figures first. Then they took my keys so they could give me a quote on my trade-in, but afterwards they wouldn't give the keys back!! My husband and I asked 3 times for the darn keys back and they kept blowing us off. So instead, my husband walked up to the front counter and took them back and got a bad attitude from them for it. Taking/keeping your keys is a tactic that I've only heard about until now. Good job, Dimmitt...you didn't get my business!! HAHA
