Review content:
I haven't been to D'Amores in a few months and finally went there for lunch today. I have to say that the pizza has changed. I myself am from NY and yearn that real NY pizza - which is why I go there a lot. But today, I have to say I am a bit disappointed with everything. I had the lunch special (slice, salad and soda for $5.95) The salad was soggy (went from fresh salad mix to cheap iceberg lettuce), the pizza tasted like it was any other pizza from Ameci's or Domino's. It didn't taste like they import the water or other ingredients which made their pizza tasting so good and different from all other pizza in LA. Pros: Dressing for Salad and garlic bread was great! Cons: Salad was soggy, pizza didn't taste like East Coast Pizza & it's pricey
