Review content:
Gourmet Gourmet is a culinary treasure in a very unassuming and very tiny takeout wrapper. Jose, the Chinese-Cuban owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet- and he'll remember your name 10 years from now if you introduce yourself to him. The food is very good- this is no simple Chinese takeout.\r

Try the chicken over lotus blossom (flash-fried spinach), or the fish laid on greens... either is a real treat. The special fried rice is truly special. If you ask for extra spice, you'll get it.\r
\r
Part of the joy of ordering from Gourmet Gourmet is to go in-person before your order is ready... crowd into the little (3-foot wide?) space between the counter and the wall, and watch this crack team of wok chefs perform their magic. You'll be amazed at how busy this tiny little shop is! There is just enough room for a couple of people to eat at a wall-mounted counter, if you don't mind being jostled. \r
\r
Give Gourmet Gourmet a try- you'll be returning again and again and again...
