I recently went on a family rafting trip with A-1 Wildwater. While doing our paperwork in their office I overheard employees making fun of another company on the same river for having one of their customers fall out and drown. I asked the girl at the desk and she told me it was the owner and some of the guides!! I couldn't believe they were actually laughing about a man dying on the river... and right in front of their own customers.
And then while we were rafting our boat flipped and when we got back in the guide said that it was the same rapid that killed this poor gentleman they were making jokes about.
I was astounded by the lack of professionalism at this place. And I would strongly urge anyone thinking of rafting with them to go with one of the other companies.
