Review content:
This is a great sports bar/restaurant. Friendly, place in a great location just over the Homestead Bridge on 8th Avenue across from the Walgreens (formerly Chiodos Tavern). Bartenders and waitresses are friendly and quick. Food is always great. The back dining area is fine for families but the front is definitely for the Pittsburgh sports fan. 10 tv's, well situated around the bar. Great juke box which they actually shut off during Steeler games and other major sporting events. Highly recommend the wings (try the mild& wild) and the steak salad. Baked potato soup is great as is the French onion. Don't miss the duchess fries (sweet potato) and if you have a big group you must order the calzone. Large will feed about 5 people. Forget the Waterfront. Just stop in to Dukes - spend a little and enjoy a lot.
