Review content:
have taken my vehicle to Sockman's twice. The first time they were helpful and I felt that I could trust them when I had problems again. The second time I went back they asses ed damages that were much more than the value of the vehicle. When I asked advice on how to take it somewhere to scrap they said that they would take care of it and waive the $45 towing fee, and told me I would not get more than $45 for the truck at a junk yard, which was a lie. I called a friend from home who works on cars and he said a junk yard would have given me at least $400. They then told me I must sign the title over to them and get my belongings out of the truck. I went to clear out my belongings and took a trip home with a load and came back to get the rest of my stuff and saw their employees looting my vehicle and taking my belongings. I was so upset I just went home and tried to justify why someone would treat me this way, I wanted to further contact with the employees there . Since I was forced to so quickly sign the title over to them I was not able to get a fair price for my vehicle (they didn't pay me a dime!) and they stole my belongings. I was not only ripped off, I was lied to, and stolen from. Unless you want to be taken advantage of, avoid Sockman's Automotive
