I agree with the person above me who stated that the best part of this complex is the fully furnished ""luxury demo"" apartment which is all decked out with leather couch and a flat screen television. When I moved in, though my apartment did have a leather couch and flatscreen, the rest was just a plain old crappy apartment. I had to put in countless work orders to fix things like loose doorknobs. Everything was ""included"" but don't count on the HBO and Cinemax that is promised, our ""free wireless internet"" never worked and overages for air conditioning and heating charges were constant month after month to the point where we began relying on fans in the heat and blankets and space heaters during the winter. At the end of the lease we were given an extremely nit-picky list of everything in the apartment and the charges to fix and or clean it. The U ended up charging me close to $1000 (just for my half-my roommate got a hefty bill as well) for damages and replacements that were unnecessary or nonexistent. Photos were taken at move out of what would be considered by most as normal wear and tear. I'm assuming they used this money to buy the new washer/dryer set and a new refrigerator (both unnecessary) that were there when I was moving out. It certainly didn't cost $2000 to recarpet the small 2 bedroom place. Sure furnished and all inclusive seems like a great deal initially, but the U makes their money off of you when you move out. Many of my friends faced similar issues at move out. Its predatory and disgusting that I have to pay an extra 2 months rent for that roach infested apartment. Pure highway robbery. DO NOT rent with them, you'll be sorry.
