Review content:
I began pilates at Studio Lotus after having my second child. After the initial shock to my system (I was not known to exercise), I found myself looking forward to my weekly sessions. Although the 50 minute session was hard, I did not spend the rest of the day recuperating. How could something like that actually work? Aches and pains disappeared, muscles appeared, and fat trimmed. Then I found myself adding more than one session in a week. When I became pregnant again I was excited that I could continue a workout that would make the 40 weeks a little easier on my body. I did pilates until my 36th week of pregnancy and was back again 6 weeks after the baby. I'm shocked and amazed at how strong I am and how much quicker my baby belly seems to be shrinking this time. Love Studio Lotus. The instructors really pay attention and know what they are doing.
Pros: A workout that is enjoyable
Cons: Studio at Windy Hill is small
