Review content:
I have been here 3 times before and had their cold antipasto and sicilian pizza and it was excellent. So for my birthday I took my whole family there yesterday and was so disappointed. The antipasto was good (not great) and the sicilian pie was good too however the salads that came with the dinner was romaine, shredded red cabbage (a lot of it too) and 4 slices of carrots.,not a cuke, tomato, onion, or olive in sight and the so- called homemade italian vinaigrette(sp?) was like a sweet mayonnaise that was so thick you couldn't pour it on your salad if you tried.Terrible. The veal parm and chicken parm had a sauce that for some reason was very orange..and there was a big tendon in the chicken...to be fair the veal was very tender and had a generous amount of cheese but that sauce was ""odd"". The eggplant parm was...okay..but I had really expected everything to be great considering some of the reviews. The kids enjoyed the pasta dishes, though I thought serving the gnocchi with diced mozzerella on top was strange (looked like mini marshmallows) as it wasn't melted just sitting on top. The bread was delicious as always....but I'd say that if that is the BEST of the meal..someone in the kitchen ""dropped the ball"". It was a 40 min. drive to get there and will not be making that trip again unless I am in the area and then I will stick to the sicilian pie and cold antipasto.
