""We Hate Expensive Wine"" heads the Pleasanton Hotel's wine list and they manage to prove it with exceptional prices on lovely local wines.
Sole stuffed with Dungeness crab in a lobster sauce was mind numbingly amazing and the portion size was out of this world, 2 pieces plus gnocchi. The desserts are just as good as well as similar in size.
One order of the chocolate bread pudding was four rich slices smothered in cream.
The atmosphere is cozy but lacks the sophistication a room full of hip young adults can bring to a jazzy downtown place, however, it was nice, quite and romantic.
I would recomended it to my friends as well as my mother.
