if its family nite, take you and the children out to eat at one of many booths divided away form bar. children get crayons too! if its a sports bar you are looking for,its the best as far as variety , many tvs and you ask for sport on,you get it on one of them. become one of the regulars or be left alone, no pressure on any given nite. one of the very few bars where i do not have to know on many of the even very busy nites when i will have a bar seat in my order. i have been to places where if i did not monitor or stand behind someone to know i am next , i could be there 45 minutes and a patron walking in , would go over to a seat first so not worth waiting. not here, the great bartenders which are more than bartenders, they know your name, they give you specials, even if you probably know them, they ask you if you have a frequent customer card . not only do they know your seating order, you walk in , get a hi and your names if you are a regular, you are asked if you want to order a drink and popcorn for the wait so its not really a wait at all. if they know you , the drink etc is there within 30 seconds of you being there. i have even seen a customer asked to politely leave a seat if they walk in and were not next, even after they try to namedrop someone to stay in the seat. so refreshing. many choices for food and appetizers. they have specials and you can order as much or as little as you like without it being a big deal and stay as long as you like. the pasta and clam sauce and seafood chowder is great . they also have healthy salads with chicken or salmon. the portions allow for take out . i only wish they would have green options for take out. t styrofoam is used maybe because less expensive to keep food prices down. hope they will try to find alternative, maybe reusable as some have done. i will enjoy going as long as i can . hope you enjoy .
