Review content:
A little over three years ago, I went through Discovery Place. It was my fifth attempt at Recovery. I was so sick and tired of trying to stay sober that I finally just gave up and threw myself at them. I could get sober, I just couldn't stay sober. They helped me see that although they were causing me big problems, the alcohol and drugs weren't the real problem, it was my attitude and outlook on life. They helped me get comfortable in my own skin. I don't feel the desire to escape today. As they say"" one day at a time"". It's great to wake up and be really alive and reasonably content these days.
