Nestled in a small nook in Gahanna's Strawberry Plaza, lies a true gem called ""Golden Delight"" bakery. This family owned and operated establishment boasts freshly-baked homemade goods, including their signature fresh strawberry cake, which comes in all sizes from a small 6"" and larger. The ingredients used are always fresh, include 100% vegetable oil, which make the cakes light and fluffy.
One has to spend time looking through the baskets on the shelves and display case, to ensure he is not missing anything. The wide selection is wonderful.
The more curious palate may like to try their made-to-order filipino treats: pan de sal (a fresh baked roll) or an ensaymada, breakfast favorite (a fresh roll with butter, sugar and cheese shreds on top).
Overall, this fresh bakery is exactly what Columbus needs -- a family owned and operated establishment with high quality baked goods!
