Review content:
I recently spent the day at the Mall of America with my wife and our 5 year-old son. Bored and tired of the ""food court"" atmosphere, we decided on Kokomo's Island Grill.
This IS a place suitable for kids. The atmosphere is that of a cheap imitation of an ""Orlando"" style restaurant. If you are looking for an intimate dinner, then walk right past Kokomo's. The waiter was average, although did nothing to warrent a negative review.
The food was a tad high in price, although our buy-one-get-one free coupon helped. I had Thai Peanut Fettuccini and would highly recomment it. Vibrant and fresh tasting red peppers and snap peas with a sweet creamy Thai peanut sauce. The wife had Salmon and claims it was worth the meal. Our son had the hamburger kids basket and finished the whold burger, but could not finish the generous amount of fries.
Pros: food selection, fresh vegies, unique taste
Cons: artifical atmosphere, price, mixed drinks
