Review content:
This is a professional music academy with highly-qualified and well-trained teachers and musicians. The quality and quantity of musical knowledge and theory I have gained from my guitar teacher makes it well worth it. If you are looking for a music academy with top-notch teachers, you should start here; they'll set you up for a free sample lesson if you call them.
In my experience, the staff has been extremely accommodating and polite when I have needed to reschedule a lesson. When you sign up for lessons, they do require you to sign a policy form that says that when canceling a lesson, you will give them 24 hours notice in order to receive a makeup, even though if you DON'T give 24 hours notice, they'll still try to work out a makeup with you. However, when I signed up, the person who was signing up made this policy very clear. Again...I have never been treated rudely by the people at the front desk, and I have never seen them be rude to anyone who's come in while I'm waiting in the lobby. Oh and by the way, as far as them not allowing their teachers to teach elsewhere, my guitar teacher has told me that he teaches private lessons out of his own home, so such a statement is incorrect.
WCAOM is a great place, and all of the staff is courteous and very helpful. When I have children someday, you can bet that they'll all be enrolled!
