From reading some of the other comments here, I am not sure if we are talking about the same place!
The quality of teachers are excellent! Some are current active local orchestra members and many have or are pursuing a masters degree in their perspective fields.
Both my sons take lessons and the improvement is rather astounding! In only 4 months, the Cello teacher at WCMA was able to correct a year's worth of bad habits that my younger one had developed from another teacher in another music school! The amount of progress and confidence that my older son have with his saxophone teacher is just unparalleled!
This is also one of the few places that truly treat everyone the same, adult and children students alike. Both my husband and I take lessons here and it was wonderful not to be brushed aside or have our lesson times bumped for a younger student. We are valued and appreciated for our love to learn music. The staff and instructors alike taught us with equal enthusiasm and encouragement.
I highly recommend WCMA to anyone who has the desire to learn an instrument!
