After living in NYC for 4 years, I finally made it to Lombardi's! I was a little afraid this is a tourist trap but since I was nearby, I figured why not. One less to do list on my bucket list.
So their menu is simple and straightforward. They have small and large sizes of pies and then you can choose your own toppings.
We ordered the large pie with 3 toppings, pepperoni, meatball and garlic spinach. It came about 20 minutes after we ordered but it was worth waiting for!
The pie crust is crunchy and chewy at the same time. The toppings work well together with the mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce and I just couldn't stop eating!
I am glad i came on a week night when I don't have to fight with tourists; what a great pizza to try.
