Review content:
As any good ""foodie"" knows- if you have to add anything to your dish, then it wasn't prepared right. Sake Toro adhears to this golden rule so well that i never once had to touch my sushi to alter its flavor. When you first walk in, you will notice the beautiful shell covered sushi bar, as well as the funky fresh atmosphere. The music that they play creates an upbeat, funloving atmosphere. On to the food. This place has innovative creations which are not only asthetically pleasing, but pleasing to the pallet as well. I am very hard to please, much less impress, and I am raving about this place. I almost don't want to write a review because i don't want this place swarmed with people every time i try to go in. With fun playful names on dishes like ""What's my name"", ""Who's Your Daddy"", and ""Japanese Lasagna"", the Head Chef at Sake Toro has made wonderful, taste bud tantalizing twists on your every day sushi. Don't get me wrong, they do still have the traditional sushi as well for the fans of the classics. While i was there this last visit, I heard someone say that they loved smoked salmon, the chef made a suggestion for them to try a spectacular dish called the San Francisco Salmon. The person looked to be in absolute heaven when they were eating it, and they heartily complimented the chef. At that point I knew I was not the only one there enjoying my meal. To go with your meal, they have a full bar, as well as Hot and Cold Sake. It is obvious to me that this Chef really knows what he is doing, and he takes pride in the dishes that he creates. I will undoubtedly be back for more of this fantastic food.
Pros: Excellent Food
Cons: Parking-you will have to walk a little.
