Review content:
It's a little strange to write a review for what is probably the world's most popular coffee chain, but here goes... If you spend enough time at this Starbucks, located on a busy corner of Newtown, you'll learn a few things: it is one of the busiest Starbucks in the Philadelphia area (by revenue), and it has its dedicated patrons, a group of which have been affectionately termed ""Starbucks Squatters"" and includes Shadrack, a 43 year old parrot (and her owner). I won't review the coffee, because if you are a Starbucks aficionado, you have your favorite drink and don't need my advice (though I order a triple venti soy toffee nut latte), but will comment on the atmosphere, since every Starbucks has a different ambience. This Starbucks has a cute little room off to the side and up two steps that features 2 comfy reading chairs and several tables and chairs to work at. There are a few tables and additional comfy chairs in the main area, all of which are usually occupied. Space is definitely at a premium at this Starbucks, and the baristas have told me that they are slated for some kind of renovation in the future. The problem is that there isn't much space for them to expand. It would also be nice if they could offer warmed food, as some of the Starbucks have started to do, but they haven't yet been granted that capability.
Pros: Great location, friendly baristas
Cons: Overpriced (but you already know that)
