Review content:
I could write a book on my experiences with pain management physicians and it would all begin with Dr. Gerald R. Hale. It's one thing to be a person who seeks meds because they like to get high, quite another to be accused of seeking meds because you want to get high. And when you are physically suffering the way I was, the psychological and emotional trauma are indeed life changing. Not only did I trust him, but I put my life in his hands. He betrayed my trust, he betrayed my honesty and he didn't bother to consider the implications of either. The details of my story though relevant would take up a mile of space here, it's the consequences that matter. Not only was I kicked out of the practice, but never told WHY he decided I was seeking drugs for FUN! I called one day to make an appt. and very mean nurse accused me of abusing my medications and I was being terminated? Wha???? No explanation. Certainly no evidence because I wasn't abusing my meds. Okay well...except for the fact that I spent 2 weeks in detox to try and get off them and try something less addicting, which didn't work for me. But I hated them so much I was willing to try anything. I was however very forthcoming with all of this information and I fail to see how this translates into seeking drugs for FUN! Cons: Betrayal
