Review content:
YOU'LL BE SMART TO AVOID THESE GUYS! The Pep Boys automotive repair on Route 16 in Everett, Massachusetts USED TO BE TRUSTWORTHY and have good dependable service, but NOT ANYMORE. Took my car that was stalling frequently to Pep Boys. They said they changed the alternator, but I know they didn't. My radio and clock in the car would have needed setting, and remarkably they were the same as they were before I left the car with them. The car continued to stall afterwards. Had it been repaired properly, it wouldn't stall at all. The vultures tried to use my return visit to sell me a tune-up and say the motor was skipping. I may not know a lot about cars, but I know the difference between skipping and stalling. I also know when I am being handed a bill of goods and someone is trying to take me for a ride. Pep Boys never did it before, but they have changed and they do their best to take advantage of women. What a rip-off - and all at a price tag of over $300.00! Don't know how they stay in business pulling this kind of garbage. Won't go there again, and I have been going there for years. They have lost a good customer. The staff is not the same. These guys are all new and a bunch of punks. Trust me, stay away!
Cons: TRY TO SELL YOU STUFF YOU DON'T NEED - ALSO CHARGE A FEE TO DIAGNOSE YOUR CAR NOW
